DECADE-X: A Growing Ecosystem
Months after its official take off, the DECADE-X association continues to gain momentum in its mission to transform the Aerospace and Defence industry data exchange. The initiative, started by Airbus, BoostAeroSpace, Collins Aerospace, Liebherr, and Thales, has recently welcomed new members end of 2025:
Industrial member
International high-technology group operating in aviation (propulsion, aircraft equipment, interiors), defence and space with a mission to contribute to a safer, more sustainable world in air transport.
Institutional member
Organisation responsible for developing, maintaining and publishing European aerospace standards that set benchmarks
for excellence and support industry interoperability.
Institutional member
Association supporting industrial sectors in digital, ecological and energy transitions,
promoting digital transformation, open standards and interoperable industry practices.
Institutional member
A technological growth accelerator helping R&T services, tech. research technology transfer to the aeronautics industries, developing reliable, robust and sustainable solutions.

DECADE-X Spreading its antennas!
Airbus Global Supplier Conference in Toulouse
During the Airbus Global Supplier Conference, DECADE-X demonstrated its ambition in front of key aerospace companies, showing the industrial engagement from a digital concept to an operational reality.
Gaia-X Summit in Porto
At the Gaia-X Summit, discussions confirmed the shift towards operational data ecosystems. DECADE-X is at the frontline of this transition by implementing the Gaia-X Trust Framework to ensure secure, standardized, and sovereign data exchange for the entire Aerospace and Defence value chain.
Aviation Forum in Hamburg
During the Aviation Forum, the association demonstrated how structured collaboration models transform fragmented supplier networks into integrated ecosystems. By implementing shared data standards and end-to-end visibility, the initiative strengthens maturity and reliability across the entire aerospace supply chain.
Data Spaces Symposium Madrid
At the Data Spaces Symposium, DECADE-X had the voice from Collins Aerospace relating about the importance of onboarding thoughtfully SMEs.

DECADE-X What’s next?
DECADE-X started in 2025 with Version 0, looking to 2026 Version 1 is now on its way.
The objective remains clear: Build a trusted, interoperable and scalable digital ecosystem where companies can exchange data securely and seamlessly while collectively strengthen the resilience of and competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry.
